Congratulations to Bruce Goldsmith, FR3, and Harmony Gaw, Magic4, for their success at the World Paragliding Championships 2007 which just finished in Manilla, Australia. Five tough xc tasks were flown over the two weeks of the event and Bruce won by being the only pilot out of the 150 competitors to get to goal every single day. Harmony was 3rd Woman flying a Magic4 small . This is the first time that a paraglider pilot has won a World Championships on a glider he has designed himself. The FR3-24 that Bruce was flying is actually the standard model, not a special proto and the exceptional performance of this wing certainly helped Bruce on the way to victory. Ideas that often spring from the competition wings influence the complete Airwave range, from school glider to tandem producing a range of Airwave gliders that always strive to break new ground. That is why success at top level means more than just success at top level
Best Regards Team Airwave AIRWAVE - the choice of champions 6 7 ! WORLD champions 7 EUROPEAN champions over 100 national champions
